How to Install a Cable Box

    • 1). Place the cable box below your television.

    • 2). Connect a coaxial cable from the cable wall outlet into the coaxial input jack on the back of the cable box.

    • 3). Plug your audio/video (AV) cables from the cable boxes AV output ports into your television's input jacks. Depending on your television you may use either an HDMI cable or composite cables. HDMI cables transports audio and video through a single input/ouput, while composite cables have three plugs for left audio, right audio and video (red, white and yellow plugs).

    • 4). Plug the cable box into an electrical outlet.

    • 5). Power on the cable box. It may take some time to initialize and set up. Power on the television and select the proper "Source/Input" to view your cable box.
