How to Add Helvetica to OS X

    • 1). Restart the computer to ensure that all applications and programs are closed.

    • 2). Insert a CD in the CD drive if the font is on a disk. Click the CD icon that appears on the desktop or click the folder that contains the font.

    • 3). Click the "Hard Drive" icon on the desktop. Click the "Applications" folder and then click the "Fonts" folder.

    • 4). Drag the font files that appeared in Step 2 into the "Fonts" file that were opened in Step 3.

    • 5). Close all windows.
