Hi. I'm Chef Isaac, from Cuisines by Isaac, and today we're going to discuss how to make Irish soda bread. OK, in this step, what we're going to do is we're going to score the top of the loaf. And to score the top of the loaf, we're going to take a nice, sharp knife and then we're just going to make ourselves a nice "X". You're just going to start here on this end and just sort of crease it all the way to one corner. Then go to the other corner, and just make yourself a nice "X". You don't really want to go in really deep, but you just want to score it so that it comes up. So as it bakes, it has a nice little separation. When you score it, it looks a little like that.
