    The Ski Resort

    • Breckenridge's ski season runs from November through April, depending on the weather. The resort has 28 lifts, including seven high-speed quad lifts and eight carpet lifts. The Imperial Express Super Chair has the distinction of being the highest chair lift in North America, reaching a peak elevation of 12,840 feet. Breckenridge has four peaks and 146 trails. The experience level ranges from easy beginner trails to steep, expert terrain. 600 acres are groomed daily. The hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    Lift Tickets

    • Breckenridge Ski Resort divides lift tickets by age and duration. Ticket prices differ between children ages 5 to 12, skiers aged 13 to 64, and seniors 65 and over. Lift tickets can be purchased for one day and up to 14 days. Multiple-day tickets must be used within a range of consecutive dates. For example, a five-day ticket must be used within eight consecutive days. Discounts are available for groups of 20 or more. If you plan to return multiple times to Breckenridge and other resorts in the area, you may want to consider purchasing a season pass. These passes will give you unlimited access to the slopes of Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail and other area resorts.

    Accommodations

    • Breckenridge offers a wide variety of accommodations, from hotels and ski lodges to condominiums and private homes. You can stay in the downtown historic district with its Victorian architecture and access to the restaurants and shopping on Main Street, or you can find lodging away from town, close to the base of the peaks and the ski chairs that will take you up the slopes. These accommodations include private residences as well as ski lodges. Package deals are available. Some packages include both lift access and accommodations in the price. Other packages include only accommodations or only lift access.
