Do you know just how common a yeast infection is in women? Even many women don't know.
About 7 out of 10 get a yeast infection during their life.
Like any infection, if these are left untreated, it can become a major medical problem.
For the bad news, the symptoms are varied.
Redness, itching, rashes, discharge, pain during urination or sex, depression, fatigue, and potentially more depending upon the person.
Now for the good news.
How easy are they to avoid? You can start with showering daily, and even using cheap soap, as long as you really scrub your body down.
Clean your body every day.
Never wear the same clothes without washing them.
Underwear, pants, anything.
Wear loose fitting breathable clothes.
This way your body can breathe, when you sweat it won't stay on your body, and infection will have a harder time spreading.
There are also dietary supplements you can get.
These are often readily available at grocery stores and even health food stores, and don't cost very much.
Natural remedies are cheaper than medication, better for your body, and you don't need a prescription to get them.
If you suspect you might have a yeast infection, start by cleaning yourself, load up on herbal supplements and Vitamin C, wash any clothes you might have worn from when you first suspected the infection, and avoid sex as so you don't potentially spread it to anybody else.
Keeping your body clean might sound very simple, but unfortunately, many people were raised thinking that bathing once every few days is plenty.
That is very bad hygiene.
Your body needs to be clean every day and needs to have clean clothes so you don't run the risk of infection.
Following these easy steps won't guarantee avoiding it, but will greatly reduce your risk.
