When Costa Rica Experts went into business over 20 years ago they made a conscious decision to only offer tours of their native country. They felt that by focusing on the land they intimately knew, guides would be able to offer their wealth of knowledge to their guests. Today they offer many options based around family togetherness, nature tours, honeymoon getaways, luxury and spa packages, and over fourteen adventure themed tours.
One of the adventure tours they offer is the Romantic Adventure where guests take hiking trips, ride the rapids in the Pacauare River, snorkel amongst brightly colored fish near Tortuga Island and horseback ride. Accommodations at locations such as the Rio Tropicales Rainforest Lodge, where guests will have their own private bungalows, give way for relaxation after a hard day.
In the Quintessential Adventure tour guides lead the way through a paddle of the Pacuare River, onto the Osa Peninsula, into a lush tropical rainforest, snorkeling, and visit to the still active Arenal Volcano for a walk on hanging bridges around the volcano. There is also a hike at Corcovado National Park, where ocelots, jaguars, bats, sea turtles, squirrel monkeys and many other species make their homes in the forests, rivers and marine caves within the park.
