- On Highway 55, 13 miles from Brundage Mountain, Bear Creek Lodge sits next to 500 miles of trails. It is open year round with a wide array of seasonal activities. For example, winter guests can go ice skating at the nearby ice rink or take snowmobiling lessons. Guests visiting during the summer can fish on Payette Lake.
Amenities for the lodge vary by room type and include private decks, fireplaces and outdoor hot tubs. Steamer's Steak and Seafood in McCall features large portions and daily specials like Halibut, while A&W All American Food in New Meadows, four miles from the lodge, is a casual American-style family restaurant. Also in New Meadows, Granite Mountain Café offers pizza in a laid-back atmosphere. - The Hunt Lodge-Holiday Inn Express is 11 miles from Brundage Mountain and 3/4 mile from the Payette Lake area. There are several activities both on site as well as within a few minutes of the lodge. Five golf courses and horseback riding at local guest ranches are two of the nearby choices. Bikes are on site for guest use as is a private beach at Payette Lake. The lodge also features McCall's only movie theater.
