Silver Dollar City is a theme park located four miles west of Branson. This theme park features a cave tour, live music shows, many roller coasters, a kids' area and plenty of unique shops, including candle shops, toy shops, candy shops and a Christmas shop. Craftsmen are always showing their creations at the park. Watch real glassblowers demonstrate the art of vase making. Spend time watching a real blacksmith work. Basket makers, rug weavers and candle makers are all on the park to display their Missouri handiwork. Water rides and family-style rides such as a train ride will provide you with a day of fun in the Ozark Hills. When in Branson, be sure to include Silver Dollar City to the itinerary.

The Hollywood Wax Museum has been in Branson for 13 years and displays a large selection of wax figures. These figures are life-size, and all are carved out of wax. Upon entering the museum, you will be greeted by Dorothy and the not-so-friendly talking tree from the Wizard of Oz. From there, you will come face to face with a variety of TV and movie characters. The Cartrights of the Ponderosa, The Godfather and Elvis are some of the many "people" you will see.

The Butterfly Palace is simply what it's name suggests. This attraction is all about the winged beauties. Upon entering the Butterfly Palace, you will watch a short 3-D movie about butterflies. From there, you will enter a huge room where thousands of butterflies are free to roam and fly. There is plenty of opportunity for photos, as the butterflies are literally all around you. They have been known to land on an arm or head, so have the camera ready. There is no time limit as to how long you may stay; have a seat on one of the many benches, and just enjoy the butterflies fluttering around you. For the nature lovers, this is the best attraction in Branson.
