Water vacations in Washington state range from six-story water slides and daring whitewater rafting to canoeing or fishing along the lake. Stay in comfortable and spacious guest suites in a hotel or enjoy cozy lakeside cabins. Vacation at a bed and breakfast beside the lake or ride down Class V rapids. Most venues offer year-round service and amenities. However, reservations should be made early and some venues recommend particular seasons for the ultimate vacation. - Alpine Adventures offers a variety of river trips including whitewater rafting and gentle family floats. Whitewater rafting trips include a Classes I through V rapids, including the class IV Wenatchee River Valley trip that carries riders over Boulder Bend, Drunkard's Drop and the Snowblind. For the most adventurous, the Main Skykomish River guided trips offers Class V rapids on the Boulder Drop, where the river reaches more than 7,000 cubic feet per second or more. The whitewater rafting trips are available year-round, but mostly recommended from April to July. The Sultan Sky Float provides a leisurely rafting trip with an opportunity to see the area's wildlife as participants float down the river toward Sultan.

There is also a Space Tech center with video and computer games and the Northern Lights Arcade, with more than 100 arcade games. Adults are welcome to enjoy the jumbo whirlpools, fitness room and hot tubs at the hotel.
