- 1). Gather your supplies and determine where you want to place the amplifier in your vehicle. The best place for this is usually under or behind a seat. Mount the amplifier solidly using bolts, zip-ties or another securing device.
- 2). Run low-p audio and power cables from the amplifier to the radio/media center in the dash. Make sure to run the cables under the vehicle and use zip-ties as necessary. Some soldering may be required to connect cable ends.
- 3). Place the subwoofer/s in the location that you have chosen in the vehicle. Secure it as desired. Run the low-p cable from the subwoofer to the amplifier. If the power cable is not attached with the low-p cable, run it from the subwoofer to the amplifier as well. Solder the ends as necessary.
- 4). Apply the desired equalizer settings to your radio for optimum subwoofer performance. Adjust the vehicle speaker volume to match the subwoofer.
- 5). After testing the subwoofer thoroughly, finish the wiring by applying electrical tape. Cover all open wires and wire ends.
