Electric Cars - The Time Has Come

Electric cars in NASCAR? Will we ever see electric powered cars racing in NASCAR? Probably not anytime soon.
Although they are quick I don't see anyone even thinking about producing one that would run 200 mph for 500 miles.
There is however technology now that I feel could be implemented to give them unlimited mileage.
One such idea is two battery packs with one on standby and charging off of the rotating axle that could be fitted with a belt running a generator with a switch to change which pack would be getting charged.
A gauge on the dash would let you know when to switch batteries.
Recently I saw a program on the "Planet Green" channel about Chevy's electric cars.
Back 6 or 8 years ago they produced a whole fleet of them and all the people that had a chance to drive them fell in love with them.
Alas they had to destroy all but 1 of them, which is in storage as a reminder that someone had a good idea but was a little premature.
I think it's time to use some new technology to produce them, or similar ones again.
There is new battery and solar technology that could be implemented making this idea a lot more appealing.
I also have found a person that converted his gas engined car to all electric and is passing this information along in the form of an eBook that gives you all the information you need to build one in your own garage.
In the afor mentioned eBook you would need a little mechanical ability but with the eBook information it could cost as little as $300 to make the conversion.
Sure seems to be something to check out.
Also with the new battery technology found on " Planet Green " they talked about a film that could possibly be used to cover the top part of the car and would allow you to recharge as you drive plus there are other means to recharge while driving and/or supply power for electric devices such as lights, a/c, heater, and accessories without using the drive power.
I think all we really need is some like minded people to get together and pool there resources to make it happen.
I know that the oil companies don't want this and have had a lot to do with information of this kind being suppressed since the time of Mr.
Tesla but I feel the time has come.
Speaking of Tesla, there is another gentleman that has perfected what appears to be Tesla's perpetual engine that produces more electric than it uses to stay running and can be built and used to power most anything depending on the size of the engine built, up to and including your home.
The amazing thing is it can be built cheaply and from over the counter parts.
[probably could be used to recharge the car batteries, just a thought] If any of this interests you, you can find out more at the links in my information box.
