- 1). Place the ramps behind the back tires on the Bobcat and drive onto the ramps. Set the emergency brake and turn the Bobcat off so that it will not roll down the ramps while you are under it.
- 2). Open the engine compartment at the top. Remove the oil fill cap at the back. This will let air in while the oil is draining and help it to drain faster.
- 3). Climb under the back of the skid loader and find the oil drain nut on the bottom of the oil pan. There is an indentation and the oil drain nut is on the side of that indentation. Place the drip pan on the ground under the oil drain nut.
- 4). Loosen and remove the oil drain nut with the open-end wrench. Let the oil drain into the drip pan. As the oil drains, the pressure will subside. Move the drain pan accordingly to catch all of the oil that is being drained.
