Climate of the Himalayas and the Best Time to Visit it
Elevation decides what kind of climate will a particular Himalayan region will face. At higher altitude, it gets more and more chillier whereas at the lower levels, the areas are wetter. Actually climatic changes in the Himalayan region is quiet unpredictable. Any moment there can be high winds, rainfall, snowstorms, etc., that can change the climate drastically.
Broadly there are two seasons – summer and winter. During winters snowfall is maximum and temperature drops to its minimum. Weather is chilly. Summers are comparatively warmer making it easier for travellers to roam around conveniently.
