haliburtonforest.com/ - Festival d'ete de Québec, or the Québec City Summer Festival, started in 1968. It is Canada's oldest and largest outdoor arts festival promoting folk arts. The festival spans 11 days and features more than 300 shows and 1,000 artists. Pay one price to attend all the shows, including concerts by rock, pop, electro, jazz, reggae, folk, hip-hop, funk, blues and classical artists. This is a major event in Québec and takes place the first week of July each year.

Swim at the beach, play golf, bike, go camping or take a guided nature walk. The 360-acre park, the largest in western Prince Edward Island, has 32 flush toilets; 20 hot showers; a laundromat; a playground; an activity center with children's programs; and a dump station. Feel safe with lifeguards on duty, and buy supplies in a camper's store nearby. Cabot Beach Provincial Park is open from June to September. Visit nearby attractions such as the Kensington Railyards and Welcome Centre and The Keir Memorial Museum.
