Guide Review - Seasons in the Park Restaurant

The top of Queen Elizabeth Park is the highest point in Vancouver, which guarantees gorgeous views of both downtown Vancouver and the northern mountains. Seasons in the Park Restaurant offers visitors a chance to enjoy those magnificent views while simultaneously enjoying delicious, mid-priced cuisine as well as fantastic service.

There are many things to love about Seasons in the Park. The food is always beautifully prepared, often with fresh, local ingredients—-I particularly love their BC Salmon Burger and Dungeness Crab and Risotto Cake—-and their desserts—-especially their Double Belgian Chocolate Truffle and Fudge Cake—-are divine and perfect for sharing.

There's also a fabulous Winebar that's ideal for sipping wine while drinking in those views. The service is top-notch, making any meal just lovely; I’ve been there with infants and small children, and the wait staff managed their needs with smiles and aplomb. But it’s the location and ambiance that truly make Seasons in the Park worth a trip. Whether you’re exploring Queen Elizabeth Park and stop in for lunch, dinner or a drink, or are looking for a fantastic setting for a casual family get-together or special brunch, this elegant restaurant is just the spot!

Also praiseworthy is Seasons in the Park’s wheelchair and stroller accessibility. Despite being perched on a hillside, the restaurant provides valet parking—so you can drive right up to the door—and has wide aisles inside that are easy for people on wheels to navigate. Not every restaurant in Vancouver is so accessible; I, for one, am very glad that Seasons in the Park is!
