Nature lovers need not be disappointed either for Karnataka has a cascade of beauty to offer. Jog Falls in Shimoga is India's tallest single-tiered waterfall, and then the Barachukki and Ganganchukki falls collectively called Shivanasamudra Falls, Hebbe Falls near the Kemmangundi hill station makes the tourists spellbound.

Bangalore the capital and Mysore are the biggest cities of the state. While Bangalore is known as the Garden City, Mysore is referred to as the city of palaces. Mysore Dussera held in the palace foregrounds attracts a large number of people.
The state has an excellent transport network consisting of National and State Highways, Railway connectivity and functional airports at five places- Bangalore, Hubli, Mysore, Belgaum, and Mangalore.
