Wrap and package Easter candy in creative ways to make the spring celebrations all the more special for family and loved ones. Use anything from waxed paper to Easter cookie cutters to beautifully present candy and cookies in your basket. Here are some great wrapping ideas for Easter treats.
Easter Cookie Cutters
Bring home a set of Easter cookie cutters in different shapes like bunnies, eggs, chicks, flowers and butterflies. You will also need clear plastic containers along with the cookie cutters. Arrange three to four cookie cutters inside each plastic container to function as different compartments. Fill the cookie cutters with jellybeans, marshmallows, candy eggs and other Easter candy.
The Easter cookie cutters make for delightful presentation and they also double as presents. Loved ones can use the playful shapes for their spring baking. Flat rectangular or round containers are a good choice for a beautiful presentation. Bring home a dozen or so from container stores and make wonderful basket gifts for Easter.
Cookie Envelopes
Cut five inch by five inch squares from waxed paper. Place a cookie in the center, bring the four corners together in the middle and seal with a sticker. Use Easter-themed stickers that are easily available in craft stores. These individually-wrapped cookies make delightful additions for Easter baskets. CD envelopes with clear plastic windows also make great wrappers for cookies and Easter candy like jelly bean bark.
Miniature Baskets
Paper cups can be used to make playful packaging for Easter candy. Choose paper cups in pastel spring hues. Punch two holes diametrically opposite near the edges of the paper cups with a paper puncher. String a piece of pipe cleaner through the holes to resemble a basket handle for your miniature baskets. Fill the paper cup baskets with jellybeans and mini candy eggs. Decorate the paper cups with stickers or paint.
Muffin Pan
A simple muffin pan can also make creative packaging for Easter candy. Fill the individual cups in the muffin pan to the brim with different types of candy. Tightly wrap with clear plastic wrap so the colorful candy is visible. You can use colorful silicone muffin pans or vintage metal pans for visual interest.
Present your Easter treats beautifully with these simple ideas.
