Whether you like to collect antique sewing machines or just happen to have an old one lying around the house somewhere and do not even realize it is a vintage machine, the day may come when you make a decision to get it back into good working order.

Be cautious with some of the ad sites though - not everyone online is trustworthy as you and I are.
To go along with that, it might be a good idea to make a phone call to the manufacturer of the machine; that is, if they are still in business.
If they are, and you have the model number, they may have, or know where you can get parts for it.
There is a very good likelihood that they will be able to at least point you in the right direction.
Considering that you haven't got anything to lose, it's worth giving it a shot, right? Another thing you can try is to make it a point to visit your local garage sales to see if anybody has some old sewing machines or parts they want to get rid of.
There is no telling what might be available to you at a garage sale, and it is not uncommon for someone to have what they consider to be just an old piece of junk that they got from a friend or relative, and they don't even recognize it to be a hidden treasure just waiting for a new appreciative owner; somebody just like you!
