School Supplies Campaign Gifts

• Homecoming and school go together like cake and ice cream, making a school-themed advertisement of your candidacy a wise choice. Instead of handing out fliers that will all-too-soon meet with the trashcan, give your voters something that they can use. Have your name and a simple message, such as "Vote for Me!" printed onto pencils, rulers or even notebooks. Hand out these helpful supplies in a hallway booth to ensure not only that your classmates are prepared for their classes, but also that they know of your candidacy.

• Create a sweet treat to entice voters to select your name on the ballot. Create cookies in the shape of your mascot or create simple round options. Decorate the cookies with school colors along with your name and the word "vote" or something that conveys a similar meaning. • Give voters something to wear to express their support of you as a candidate. Since you are trying your hardest to earn a crown, this piece of head wear is an appropriate means of communicating your message. Create cardboard crowns to give out to your supporters or those that are undecided. Print the message "Vote for..." followed by your name on each of the crowns. Funny Photos Candidate Booth

• Get your message across while giving voters something fun to do by setting up a funny photos candidate booth. To prepare this booth, create a funny background, such as a haunted house theme if your election falls around Halloween. Set up a digital camera and printing station. Allow students to step up to the booth and get their pictures taken, alone, with friends or you in the booth. Print out the photos and, before giving them out, attach a sticker that reads "Vote For..." followed by your name on the reverse. When voters step into the voting booth, they will likely remember this unique photo op and may be more inclined to select you as a candidate.
