If you really hope to blog to make money online you should concentrate on making your blog sticky.
Some people set up hundreds of websites just to make money from AdSense; this is often referred to as AdSense Arbitrage.
These sites are usually poor quality and Google frowns upon this technique.
Familiarize yourself with Google AdSense program policies.
There are a lot of rules and restrictions if you decide to include AdSense in your site.
AdSense is easy to use and if your own blog hosted on Google's free blogging service Blogger, it is easier to add AdSense which makes it very appealing.
Overall it is good source of income to consider but do not put your eggs in one basket.
