- 1). Wash the wine bottle out and let dry. To drill a hole in the glass you will need a 1/2" glass hole cutter and a drill. I spray a little pam on the drill bit to lubricate it. When drilling a hole in the wine bottle do not put pressure on the drill. Let it slowly drill thought the glass. This could take 5 or more minutes. When hole is drilled wash out the wine bottle and let dry.

Frosted wine bottles
When wine bottle is dry the next step is to frost the wine bottle. Spray the wine bottle evenly with two to three coats. Its ok to frost over the label. Let dry. - 3). Place string of holiday lights in the bottle through the hole leaving the plug out. Insert cork back into bottle top. Wire the artificial grapes to the neck of the wine bottle; twist to secure. Take several string of raffia and wrap around neck of wine bottle and tie. Trim off excess raffia.
