- 1). Place two cones approximately 10 meters apart and have half of the players lined up at one cone and the other half lined up at the other. Instruct the players to walk with the ball against the inside of one of their feet from one cone to the other, passing to the awaiting player at the end. If the player is unable to produce a fluid movement with the ball, restart from the beginning at a slower pace.
- 2). Place 10 cones in a zig-zag pattern, totalling 15 meters from the first cone to the last. Instruct the players to walk with the soccer ball around the cones, using both the inside and outside of one of their feet. If a player is unable to produce a fluid movement with the ball, restart from the beginning at a slower pace.
- 3). Place 10 cones in a circle and instruct the players to walk with the soccer ball, weaving in and out of the cones using both sides of both feet. If the player is unable to produce a fluid movement with the ball, restart from the beginning at a slower pace.
- 4). Repeat these exercises and increase the speed of the player each time.
