Books by Harlen Coben - Awards And More Awards

Are you familiar with Harlen Coben? Write a book, get an award.
Write a book, get an award.
Coben's last six novels debuted at number one on the New York Times bestseller list.
He's published in 41 languages around the world.
His books have been number one bestsellers in over 12 countries.
A few awards? He's won the Edgar Award, Shamus Award and Anthony Award.
No one else had won all three.
In 1995 Coben won the Mystery Writers of America's Edgar Allen Poe Award and was nominated for two others.
The Anthony Award came from the World Mystery Conference.
He won the Shamus Award from The Private Eye Writers of America (don't you love that name?), and was nominated for another, and twice nominated for the Dilys Award by the Independent Mystery Booksellers Association.
When Coben's books become movies, the awards keep coming.
"Tell No One" came out in 2001 as a wildly successful French film, the top foreign-language film of the year.
It won the French Golden Globe and four French Oscars, including best actor, director, and music.
Coben started with a successful series of seven books about sports agent Myron Bolitar.
He followed with "Tell No One," then 2002's "Gone For Good," 2003's "No Second Chance" (the first International Book of the Month, and the Main Selection in 15 countries), 2004's "Just One Look," and 2005's The Innocent.
" His latest novel is "Six Years," which follows the sad Jake Fisher, who can't get his romance with Natalie in Vermont out of his mind.
It turns out that it's one of those relationships that culminates in marriage to someone else as soon as Jake and Natalie end.
The book starts with a wedding, then a funeral.
Natalie's husband dies.
Jake has high hopes of rekindling the romance with Natalie.
Things get confusing for Jake when he gets in touch with Natalie's sister, who doesn't know him.
Is there more to the story? Was Natalie's husband murdered? Jake is still deeply in love.
He lives for her laugh.
He can't breathe without her.
Coben's comic relief has Jake thinking in bumper stickers: "Gag me with a spoon" and "...
you start talking like a bad country song.
" There are twists and turns I won't reveal.
It's Coben's talent.
That's why this book, and so many of his other books, are such successes.
You're on Jake's side, but did he invent the whole situation? Is that why no one knows him? What's going on as he returns to Vermont? Does he have a chance with Natalie? Did he ever? Get to know the books of Harlen Coben.
There's a reason for all those awards.
