The credibility of this book is enhanced because the author Paul McCormick has actually done it.
He learned from working with millionaires.
He learned to think like millionaires and became the owner of a muliti-million dollar company at the age of 27.
Realizing that he didn't need to be burdened down by a company to be rich, he cashed out and became more successful than ever.
Most of all, this success came from the real business world, not promoting self help books.
In his book "The Secrets of the Millionaire Inside" he gives you the seven step formula for doing what he did.
You find out that to become wealthy, you have to change what's inside of you.
You have to change the way you think about money and learn to think like the rich.
In the first step Paul tells that you need to "Stop Loving Money" and tells you what rich people value instead.
In the second step "Realize Money Is Just An Idea" you learn that ideas are the true generators of real wealth.
Grubbing after money directly gets you some but it is not the path to real wealth.
The next three steps "Focus Your Desire", "Imagine And Feel The Possibilities" and Believe At a bold New Level" are the type of things you find in many success books.
You need all that to succeed.
Without the vision of where you want to be and believing in that vision , you just can't get there.
However, as Paul points out you need a lot more than that or it's just wishful thinking.
Step six is the most important step.
Without step six, you can achieve some success but not great success.
Step six is "Exchange Value On a Large Scale" You are doing what you love.
You are successful on a small scale.
You are exchanging the value of what you do for some return.
The key is the last part of the step six title, "On A Large Scale".
Great wealth only comes, when you figure out how to offer the value of what you do to many.
The seventh step "Take Action" is obvious.
Without action nothing happens.
You need to absorb all the authors ideas and take action.
I feel that this book offers some insights that are new.
The principles of steps three, four and seven can be found in other books.
I believe steps one and two break some new ground.
Step six is, I believe, the one that really offers something new.
This book could be the one that finally helps you achieve that greater success.
