Full disclosure here: I'm a lifelong New Englander, so I'm pretty much contractually obligated to be a New England Patriots fan. It's not always easy, let me tell you, especially during weeks like this one, when the Pats were accused of deflating eleven out of twelve of the footballs used in last week's game against the Indianapolis Colts. The scandal quickly took over the news, with fans saying that people are making a mountain out of a molehill over "InflateGate," and non-fans screaming, "Cheaterssssss!" and dubbing it "DeflateGate."

Then came the name calling, from "The Deflatriots" to "Bill Beli-cheat," and more. Twitter has exploded with debates, finger-pointing, and jokes. The silver lining for us humor fans? How can you not laugh when at every press conference, the word "balls" gets used about a thousand times? Balls, people. Balls.
