When I sit down and ponder about article marketing, I cannot find a reason not to get into article marketing.
Here is why.
Content marketing is a proven traffic generation method that really works.
It can provide targeted traffic which will inevitably lead to sales.
If you are just starting out, I recommend writing and submitting articles on your own so that you can a good feel of how content marketing works.
But don't get hooked and end up getting caught in the operational aspects - i.
e.
article writing and submissions.
You can easily hire others to do the work on your behalf.
Let me show you how affordable such services can be.
A piece of article can cost anywhere from $5 to $40.
I rarely purchase articles that cost more than $10 though.
Most of the content that I buy cost between $5 to $10.
I then use article submission services to distribute the content for me.
When I first started, I hired people from webmaster forums to do this for me, and they charged me about $10 to $15 for each distribution.
So if you spend $10 on an article, and $15 on distribution, it will cost you a grand total of $25 to write and distribute 1 article.
When you submit to hundreds of article directories, that $25 will result in 30 to 50 one way back links.
That means each back link cost you less than a dollar to acquire.
Then you think, how long will it take you to write and distribute one article on your own? Two hours or three hours? How much is your time worth? As a business owner, I can almost guarantee you that your time is worth more than the $25 that you will be shelling out for the services.
In addition, as a business owner, you should always avoid getting caught in the operational issues.
If you don't grow your business, no one else will do it for you.
