How common is it that a guy dumps his girlfriend then decides he wants her back? This may not be all to common but who's to know. If you are in this position, you are probably wondering how to go about getting your ex back. If you have been trying to persuade her with cards, flowers and gifts I bet it has not worked yet.

Think about it, she may be thinking who is this guy that dumps me and now is trying to get me back. What you may be facing, if she has some interest in you, is she is going to make you go the extra mile to prove yourself to her before she accepts you. So you need to be prepared for the long term at this.

You most likely hurt her feelings and pride not to mention all the crying she must have been doing. She probably talked trash about you to her friends and family so you will have to over come them also, but it can be done.

You are going to have to explain why you dumped her and why you have changed your mind so a good plan laid out would be a good idea. You need to be very sincere in what you tell her and if she needs an apology you must give it to her from the heart, don't make it look generic it has to be real.

If you had second feelings about your relationship because it was getting serious and you did not want that much commitment then explain that to her. But now you have had a chance to think it over and realize how much you really love her and do want to make more of a commitment. This would be a good start at a new relationship.
