- 1). Get a Newtgat to move into your garden. To do so, fill 3 percent, or 30 square pinometers, of the garden with water. Plant three watercress flowers near the water. When the Newtgat eats the flowers, it becomes a garden resident.
- 2). Increase the amount of water in the garden to 5 percent, or 50 square pinometers. Fill the garden with 50 square pinometers of snow.
- 3). Pause the game and select the Pinarctic to travel there. Purchase a trap and place it anywhere on the ground. Place a chili pepper in the trap to serve as bait.
- 4). Wait for a Pengum to walk into the trap and eat the chili pepper. As it eats, the trap triggers. Select "Yes" at the prompt to send the Pengum back to your garden.
- 5). Leave the Pinarctic. When the Pengum eats the Newtgat in your garden, it becomes a permanent resident.
