- Go to the Guzer website and load the Reel Gold Challenge game. This game isn't like a traditional crane game, but it's very similar in that you must catch an object at the right direction. Click on the "Play" button to begin the game. Use the left and right keys to move the cart and swing the rope. Once the rope is directly over the gold, press the down arrow key to fire the rope to catch the gold. If you get hit by a rock during this time you will miss your chance and have to start over at catching the gold. You must also clear each level and catch the gold before the time runs out or you will lose the game. Once you grab the gold you must press the up arrow key to bring the gold all the way up to the miner. The best strategy to use for this game is to try to get all of the closest pieces of gold first. You could waste time trying to get the gold that is further down in the mine.
- Go to the Star Games website to play the Get Pookey game where you must successfully get a stuffed bear from the crane game machine. The game is also part of a promotion from the Garfield movie. Press the "Start" button to begin the game. Use the arrow keys to move the crane in any direction and place it directly over where you think you can catch the bear. Press on the space bar to make the crane go down once you think you can get the bear. The game is fairly simple, but gets more challenging in each level. A trick to always making sure you can get Pookey within the time limit is to quickly get close to the stuffed bear and the press the space bar. Judge the distance that you are off from the bear, and then make sure you can get him with your next try. Also, try not to accidently grab other animals or they will slow down your time.
