One actor who has been in the spotlight quite often recently is Mel Gibson.
I'd be lying if I said his recent stunts and drama has not tarnished my opinion of him badly.
I don't think he will ever star in another movie, and I think the best thing for him to do would be to remain silent for the next few years.
That is not to say he has not had some amazing films though.
The following films are my top five favorites that star or feature Mel Gibson.
One movie that I will include on this list is Ransom.
What an awesome movie this was.
Mel Gibson stars as a wealthy businessman who has his little son kidnapped, only to be held for a ransom.
Mel's character turns things around and puts a ransom on the kidnapper's head.
Braveheart is easily my favorite Mel Gibson movie of all time.
Even with everything that has happened with Mr.
Gibson recently, this is still one of my top ten favorite movies ever.
If you are looking to see one of the better films of all time, here it is.
Another great movie that stars Mel Gibson is The Man Without A Face.
I am actually impartial to this film because one of my good friends had a small role in it.
Mel plays a recluse with a disfigured face in this movie.
It goes without saying that one of the Lethal Weapon movies must be mentioned here.
To me, they are all great, but i thought the best one was Lethal Weapon Four.
There is one fight scene in this movie between Mel and Jet Li that is just wild.
Finally, I will include The Patriot as one of my favorite Mel Gibson movies.
Mel stars as a war veteran who must lead a resistance against British rule around the time of the Revolutionary War.
Heath Ledger is in this film as well, and is great.
As it stands, this is my all time list of my favorite Mel Gibson movies.
I doubt we will see any more movies from him, so this list is probably not going to change.
