The Nokia X3-02 provides an integrated music player which enables you to enjoy all of your favourite music on your phone wherever you go. The application lets you play, skip tracks and create playlists easily through the overall user experience offered by the handset.

Accessing the music player application on the handset is easy, from Menu you select Music and then My music and are able to play songs, pause and resume or forward and rewind by selecting and holding the skip icons which appear onscreen. If you press the end key, you can leave the music player application and return to the handsets home screen, while the music continues to play in the background of any other applications you may wish to use. One of the best ways to enjoy your music is to create your own defined playlists of your songs, which allows you to enjoy particular genres or a mixture of your music, one after the other. In addition to normal playlists, you can also use the smart playlists of the most played, recently played, or recently added.

Playlist creation on the X3-02 is quick and easy to perform. Once in the music player application select "Playlists", followed by "Create playlist", and then proceed to give it a name followed by "OK". You are then prompted to start adding songs to it, which you can also go back and do at anytime, as well as remove songs too. When inside the list, you are shown all of your songs and simply have to select the tunes you want to be in there. They will instantly appear in the list, and you will be able to select it for playback in the music player. Music is stored either on the device internal 50 megabytes of memory, or alternatively on the microSD card memory, which is hot swappable and offers up to 16 gigabytes on any card inserted. You can enjoy your music through standard headphones with the 3.5mm (jack) connector, or wirelessly with the Bluetooth audio profile which enables you to listen through a wireless stereo headset.

The Nokia X3-02 allows you to enjoy all of your music in the way that you want to, and offers shortcuts and widgets to the integrated music player application. By using smart playlists or creating your won, you are able to listen to the tunes you want to hear in the order you wish to hear them, wherever you may be.
