    From the Inside

    • 1). Drink lots of water. By drinking lots of water you hydrate your body, and your skin.

    • 2). Eat foods containing antioxidants, such as leafy greens, blueberries and food with color (red peppers versus green ones).

    • 3). Eat foods that contain fatty acids such as avocado, olive oil, and flax seeds.

    From the Outside

    • 1). Moisturize your face with lotions containing alpha hydroxy acids. Moisturizers like these help to exfoliate dry skin cells as well as encourage collagen production, which can help reduce laugh lines.

    • 2). Apply aloe vera gel to your skin and laugh lines. The gel from the plant contains malic acid, which is helpful toward keeping the skin flexible and soft.

    • 3). Mash avocado and apply it to your face for 20 minutes. The avocado is helpful in getting rid of laugh lines because it contains vitamin E as well as natural moisture.

    • 4). Mash papaya and apply it to your face as you would avocado. Thanks to enzymes it contains, it can remove the outer layer of dry skin and help fresher skin emerge, thus reducing laugh lines.

    • 5). Exfoliate your skin, ridding it of the outer layer of dry cells. Be careful to use gentle exfoliates, such as oatmeal, so you do not damage your skin.

    • 6). Mash banana and honey together and apply it to your skin. The combination helps to firm your skin, reducing laugh lines. Remove the mixture after 10 minutes.
