In "I Dated a Robot," Fry decides to live out all of his fantasies, including dating a celebrity. He and Leela discover nappster.com, and download Lucy Liu's personality into a blank robot. She transforms into Lucy Liu, being modified to Fry's liking. The crew warn Fry against dating a robot. When he doesn't listen, they break into nappster.com and free the kidnapped Lucy Liu head. A war breaks out between Lucy Liu robot clones and our gang, ending with the Lucy Liu robots exploding (by means of popcorn).

The real Lucy Liu asks Fry to erase her from his robot, and he obliges.
