- 1). Slide the power switch, found at the bottom right side of the Kindle device, to the right. Wait for a green light to come on.
- 2). Release the power switch, which will cause it to slide back to its original position. The Kindle home screen will now be showing, with a list of all the books in your personal collection.
- 3). Click down on the five-way directional pad, located on the right side of the Kindle, to navigate through the list of books in your collection. When the book you want to read is underlined, stop clicking down.
- 4). Click the middle of the five-way directional pad to load the chosen book. The book's title screen (or the last page you were reading, if you have already opened this book on the Kindle) will come up.
- 5). Click the right-arrow buttons, located on either side of the Kindle, to advance a page, and the left-arrow buttons, located below the right-arrow buttons, to go back one page. You can now read your personal book on the Kindle!
- 1). Power on your BlackBerry device and wait for the app screen to load.
- 2). Move the trackball controller until the "Kindle for BlackBerry" app is highlighted.
- 3). Click the center of the BlackBerry trackball controller to load the Kindle for BlackBerry app, which will appear as your Kindle home screen list of personal books. This loading process may take a few moments.
- 4). Scroll down on the trackball controller until the book you wish to read is underlined.
- 5). Click the center of the trackball controller to load the selected book.
- 6). Use the trackball controller to scroll through the book pages, with one scroll to the right moving forward a page and one scroll to the left moving back one page. You may now read your personal book using the Kindle for BlackBerry app.
