The travel world is one that is constantly changing, and as politics and international events continue to shape the world around us, some destinations become more interesting and popular, while others wane in popularity. The ideal situation for many solo travelers is to find a destination before it really becomes popular and overwhelmed with tourists, and there are plenty of places that look like they will start to come on the map for travelers in 2015.
Here are some ideas for where you might want to include in your travel itinerary for 2015.
Lithuania
This former Soviet country is one of the most beautiful of the Baltic Nations, with a coastline and some wonderful inland forests for nature lovers, and some wonderful cities too. Combine the strong sporting heritage with the wealth of history and a thriving cultural scene, and it is a great time to visit the country. While most visitors will arrive in London, the beautiful scenery of Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland is also well worth including in your trip to the country.
Serbia
Serbia is a country that has experienced plenty of strife and difficulties over recent decades, but is emerging now as a growing destination, particularly because it is one of the cheapest countries in Europe to visit.
