In the 14th and 15th century most various parts of Europe used to play a set of cards known as the tarots. The Gypsies used these cards in fortune telling which led to their wide spread in Europe. A complete deck is divided into two arcanas which have a total of seventy eight cards, that is the minor arcana consisting of twenty two cards in four suits and major arcane which has fifty six cards. The regular cards have categories like clubs, spades, heart and diamonds while this particular set of card use circles, cups, wands and swords as suits.

Popular decks have various traditional symbols with essential meaning and purpose. Mostly, the reader translates orally in reverse and not the normal upright manner which is believed to have a huge outcome in its meaning and purpose. How do tarot cards work? I know this is the first question that crossed you mind.

The question reading and open reading are the two ways in which the cards are read.

1. 1.      Way of question reading

Here the specific questions are addressed by the reader to the person receiving the reading. These cards are not meant to provide any answers to questions but many do not know this, hence they end up making decisions based on the cards. Honestly this is not wise since they are meant to provide you with a guideline in your decision making. The questions that are addressed to the person receiving the reading must be clearly expressed in a neutral and positive way that does not lead to confusion.

1. 2.      Way of open reading

The reader will not need to know the problem that is influencing the person receiving the reading but instead he will have to conduct the different aspects of the person's life to achieve the set objective. During this reading, there will be success in the process when you are entering a new phase in your life like a career or getting married hence the reader can focus on a particular aspect in which you have an issue with.

The reader will then permit the person receiving the reading to pick the cards and mix them accordingly so as to move the power within that person to the tarot cards. The questions asked by the reader should be answered accurately, so the person receiving the reading should be keen on the questions.

The reader will then take the cards and spread them for they are expected to bring out a particular meaning. The cards can be separated using one card or one which includes using the seventy eight cards all together. No matter how the separations are done, each spread will result to new information.

The person receiving the reading is told what the cards have shown after the reader is through with interpreting the cards. Isn't this interesting? Put in mind that cards will just give you an idea of what the future occurrence will be. This really helps when you do not have any clue to what is going to happen later and believe me I have tried it myself and it is 90% accurate.
