Hi, guys! I'm Jhizet Panosian, celebrity makeup artist, and today we're going to be talking about makeup tips for dark blond hair with blue eyes. When planning your makeup application if you have blue eyes, it gives you an opportunity to really play with colors. I particularly love purples and blues for blue eyes. If you look on the color wheel, opposite of blue is reds and purples and you can really play with those colors and really make your blue eyes pop. To demonstrate this look today, I'm going to use L'Oreal's Hip metallic duo shadows. To start off this look, I'm going to start with a cream pencil. It is a dark purple color. It has a little hit of shimmer, not too much, and I'm going to start by lining the top of her lid. I generally like to start from the inner corners and work out. And your line doesn't have to be completely perfect, because you're going to go back through and smudge this line a little bit to create the look we're going for. And right where your lashes stop is where you want to stop drawing the line. Just go back and forth a little bit to get some color on there. Next I'm going to use a flat square brush with very flat tip, and I'm going to go through the line and smudge it up. And because this look isn't too dramatic, you can use it and wear it in the daytime, or play it up for an evening look as well. Next I'm going to use an eyeshadow that's a metallic duo. I really love these. There's a lighter shade of the purples and a darker shade that I can go back through and really dramatize if I want, and if they're really highly pigmented and they photograph beautifully. And as you can see, it's a metallic color so it's going to pop really well. And you just want to go in and place it right on the lid. And just work out, work it out, work the product out. And again, what's really good about this look is that it isn't too dramatic, so you can wear it and get away with it during the day. Next I'm going to use fluffy tapered brush; it has a tapered edge. And I'm going to go in and pick up some of the darker color that's also a metallic purple and work it... work a little bit in the crease. Not too heavy, though, and bring it into the lash line. And you can use small circular motions to really blend the two colors together. My next step is just going to be to take a little bit of the lighter color that we used on her lip, get rid of the excess, and just pull it in under her bottom lash line. You can go in about 3/4 in, just to sort of marry the top and bottom lashes together. Next I'm going to add a little hint of purple to the cheeks. It's not too light and it's not too dark, it's just perfect to bring in the color scheme on her face. Since I already prepped Erica's eyes with a little bit of black mascara, we're just going to finish and complete this look with a little bit of pink gloss. Again, you don't want to bring in color to all the different areas of the face. Since you are playing up the eyes, you want to keep the lips somewhat neutral... just a very simple sheer pink gloss that'll bring in the eyes, the cheeks, and the lips for a perfect day or night look. So as you can see, the perfect blend of a purple eyeshadow really makes Erica's blue eyes sparkle and pop. And that's a quick and easy tip if you have dark blond hair and blue eyes. I'm Jhizet Panosian. Thanks for watching.
