One of the biggest fallacies promoted by many of the bodybuilding websites and magazines about how to build muscle quick, is that in order to build lean muscle mass you must follow a "traditional bulking diet." This type of diet is sometimes referred to as "dirty bulking."
In their soon to be released 21-Day Fast Mass Building Program Vince DelMonte and Lee Hayward put the bulking diet fallacy to rest once and for all. However, here's a sneak peek at what you'll be able to learn about how the typical bulking diet affects your mass building efforts, in a negative way.
- Most bulk up diets involve junk food and bad decisions. This is often because when bulking up many bodybuilders try to justify eating junk food by telling themselves that they are training hard, and therefore the consumption of junk food isn't going to do any damage. Nothing is further from the truth. In order to really add mass, and I mean lean mass, you've got to eat properly and at the proper times.
- Another problem with bulking diets is that regardless of how much you're eating, you can't force muscle growth. Many bodybuilders have been led to believe that if consuming 4,000 calories per day will help them build muscle, then eating 6,000 calories per day will help them gain even more muscle, as if muscle growth can be forced.
Well, Vince DelMonte is sorry to disappoint all of us who believe this lie, but it is a lie. Charles Poliquin says: "Bulking up diet programs won't produce any more muscle growth than ingesting an ideal amount of nutrients. Sorry, but it's simply not possible to force additional muscle growth by overfeeding." - Another problem with bulking diets is they cause your body to develop insulin resistance. "Your entire nutrition program and training must be designed around shuttling ingested calories away from fat stores, and direct them into muscle."
This is where your body's resistance and sensitivity to insulin is so important. The proper training and diet program are key to this.
As far as knowing how to build muscle quick is concerned, there's a lot to learn, even for a 30+ year bodybuilder like myself. I've read so much information on all subjects related to training and diet for fast mass gains while still maintaining a lean physique, that sometimes my head is spinning from all of the information and conflicting opinions.
That ends this month, because on January 11th, 2011, Vince DelMonte and Lee Hayward are releasing the 21-Day Fast Mass Building Program. With their new program Vince and Lee are promising that you can gain up to 12 pounds of PURE muscle in just 21 days or less.
