Getting Ready For the Recruit Training For the Marines

Getting ready for the recruit training is like knowing what's ahead of you.
There's nothing more hostile than not knowing what to expect.
A lot of recruits fail because of their lack of preparedness.
If you think you're fit, try asking yourself if you are indeed fit for the Marines.
Instead of bulking up and going crazy over your muscles, work on your endurance.
You need to have complete lots of cardio training every single day, use small weights for training your muscles.
You also have to do several chin-ups, crunches and push-ups.
While it is true that you have to be physically fit when getting ready for the recruit training, what others don't realize is that you also have to be mentally ready.
You have to deal with a lot of stress, not to mention the stress that your Drill Instructor will purposely put you through.
The Marine boot camp is definitely for people who can take anything.
Remember that you're a recruit for a reason and you shouldn't give up too easily because they will try to break you down.
Getting ready for the recruit training also means that you have to learn how to work with and within a team.
When you come out of the training, it will be instilled in your mentality that you are part of a much stronger and powerful unit and that is your team and not yourself alone.
For sure you'll be homesick and lonely during the grueling 13-week training program.
Try to avoid being too emotional or sentimental because you chose this path and besides there are people who are on the same boat with you.
