    Frequent or Urgent Urination

    • You may need to urinate much more often than usual; this need may be accompanied by a strong feeling of urgency. After you go, you may almost immediately feel like you need to urinate again.

    Small Amount of Urine Expelled

    • Although you may constantly feel as if your bladder is full, you may only expel a small amount of liquid during urination.

    Pain in the Abdomen

    Bloody Urine

    • You may see blood in your urine.

    Signs of a Kidney Infection

    • If left untreated, a bladder infection can spread to the kidneys and cause a serious infection. High fever, back pain, nausea or vomiting may be signs of a kidney infection. If you believe you might have a kidney infection, seek medical attention immediately.
