Next to Robson Square is the Vancouver Art Gallery: stroll over, and see the Art Gallery wearing a temporary flowery wrap, a 6,000-square foot "architectural intervention" by Taiwanese artist Michael Lin.
The Vancouver Art Gallery is free during the Olympic weeks, and features a special exhibit of drawings by Leonardo da Vinci ("The Mechanics of Man".) The free price is perfect when touring art galleries with kids, as you never know how long (or short) your visit will be.
