The Three Stages Chiropractic Care Focuses On

Chiropractic is from the Greek word that means "by the hand.
" This is a conservative care that is non-intrusive and does not need surgery or medicine.
Since it can address several types of medical conditions, this area of the medical profession has different types of specialization to address the specific needs of each patient.
There are three major stages of chiropractic care focuses on: Stage 1: Chiropractic Relief This is the initial stage for patients in general.
To help patients obtain some relief from pain and discomfort, this procedure is done regardless of the cause.
The length of the treatment and the degree of efficacy of this stage is largely dependent on the level of damage on the patient's condition and the individual themselves.
The doctor will diagnose the severity of physical damage or pain and handle it with according gentleness.
Sometimes in the first stage, the chiropractor can completely handle the condition in one visit.
This can happen but is not very common.
Stage 2: Corrective Chiropractic A more advanced type of chiropractic care, this stage is performed on patients who have been suffering from spinal conditions for some time.
Because the condition had already aggravated and become more complicated, the healing time is longer.
The extent of the damage and the individual's body response also influence the healing period.
This stage will most likely occur in older patients or people who have sustained bodily abuse/damage in their line of work or hobby or recreational activities.
It requires continual visits to the chiropractor and will eventually be handled.
Stage 3: Maintenance Chiropractic This is the post treatment care where the patient is asked to continue the therapy mainly for prevention.
The care given in this stage is relatively lighter than the preceded stages.
This care may be simply visits 1 time ever few months, but its intention is to regulate and maintain the health of the spine.
There are patients who have demonstrated an improvement in the quality of life which the chiropractor attributes to this stage.
Most chiropractors adhere to the objective of this practice.
Chiropractors aim to provide relief to the patient without the need for surgery and medicine.
At the same time, it is also the intention of the chiropractor to achieve wellness and better quality of life for the patient.
To help your chiropractor better address the problem in your body, it is best to hold a dialogue with your chiropractor prior to treatment.
