How to Secure a Jacuzzi Tub

    • 1). Place a locking cover over the Jacuzzi when it is not in use. The cover helps prevent people from tampering with the water by pouring foreign material into the water, while also protecting it from falling debris from nearby trees. It also helps prevent people from using the Jacuzzi without your permission.

    • 2). Use security lighting at night. The lighting will activate either when it gets too dark or when it detects motion, which helps deter vandals from damaging the Jacuzzi. Vandals normally prefer darkness to reduce the chances of getting caught.

    • 3). Use a timer with the Jacuzzi so that it will turn off automatically after a few minutes. This prevents someone from turning on the Jacuzzi while not using it and wasting heat and electricity. Since the timer works on a dial, once the dial hits zero, the tub will automatically shut off.
