A person who loves his/her country more than anything else and who is ready to sacrifice his/her life for the sake of it and its people is a patriot.
Similarly, the extreme feeling of love towards the country and even ready to die, if needed, for the country is patriotism.
Words and actions of a person may differ.
While writing an essay or composing a poem, the writer may die in words for the nation.
On the contrary, s/he may be hiding herself or himself in a cupboard when something is to be done for the nation.
Moreover, there are thousands of people who claim themselves to be patriots, while having a sip of champagne or while delivering a public speech.
In reality patriots never claim themselves as 'Patriots' in public but they rather become martyrs when the country needs them.
Moreover, their actions are louder than their words.
Whenever there is a death of a patriot, there is hardly anybody whose tears do not fall onto the ground.
Furthermore, man is a rational social animal.
How can he forget his own origin from whom and from where his life began? The most gracious things are mother and motherland.
On the top of that, he can't be a man or human who forgets his/her own mother and motherland.
The man, who forgets them, dies twice in his life because he doesn't get honor and respect while he is alive and nobody weeps at his death nor anybody admires his death nor anybody remembers him after death.
In fact, his death is just like a death of a street dog.
In conclusion, being mortal we should live each day thinking that we have to die but should be optimistic.
Instead of living with the dead soul everyday, it had better die one time for the nation.
