Ideally, with better technology comes a more intricate and developed gaming world. But lately, it seems like game developers are focusing more on form rather than substance. We have games that sport hyper-realistic graphics, but they often fall short in the gameplay category and storyline creation. But of course, there are some who are part of the exception. Almost yearly, gaming companies produce updates and new consoles that it becomes hard for gamers to keep track of all the games. But surely, without the oldies of the gaming consoles, we would not have their offspring games that we have today. For retro gamers and fans of the Bomberman series, you might want to check out Bomberman 64, a classic Nintendo 64 game.
The Bomberman series is a notorious game known to plenty of gamers. In fact, almost all gaming consoles are it Playstation, Xbox, Dreamcast, and even your PC have available Bomberman titles. And true to its legacy, Bomberman 64 of gaming platform Nintendo 64 is a notable part of the series. In fact, this game developed by Hudson Soft is the first 3D game in Bomberman series' history. Although, it sports almost the same gameplay as the other Bomberman titles, this fun action-adventure type is innovative in its sense. You see, the single player mode is quite different as it combines the platforming stage with the action-adventure types of game genre. The controls are pretty much the same too except this time, Bomberman can move in eight directions, which is a diversion from the original four. Now, you can move diagonally too. Bomberman's bomb explosion is different as well. Instead of the cross-type fire, the explosion is spherical. Although there are quite a few changes, the game still has that wacky humor and the same Bomberman feel as the other games in the series.How to ace the game:
If you are not new to the Bomberman game series, then you'd probably know by now that the game requires a little patience and mental endurance to outwit your opponents with the right strategy and tactics. Very similar to any other strategy game, the Bomberman title is a mental game. And the goal is pretty simple too. Your main objective is to defeat your enemies by predicting where your rival places himself, and trap him with your bombs accordingly. It takes a little knowledge on how to bluff your opponent into position. The skills used are quite similar to the skills used in Zelda.
