- Aloe vera gel is used to heal several different types of skin conditions. It also works when applied directly to your scalp to stimulate new hair growth. Aloe vera gel is very common and can be found in any health or department store as well as your local pharmacies. Shampoo your hair as you normally would. Then apply the aloe vera gel directly to your scalp. Wait five minutes and then rinse clean. You will not need a conditioner. The aloe will leave your hair soft and manageable. That is an added bonus of using this herbal remedy.
- Neem oil can be mixed with your normal shampoo. This herbal remedy is safe to use each time you shower. It is beneficial for more than just hair loss. It also kills head lice, gets rid of dandruff and strengthens the hair that you do have. You can purchase neem oil at a health store or order it online at a store such as Vitacost. Drip ten drops of neem oil in your shampoo bottle and then stir.
- Both rosemary and sage are used to treat hair loss. They work as natural astringents. They also stimulate hair follicles so that your hair can begin growing again. You wan to take equal amounts of both the rosemary and sage leaves and place them in a pot of boiling water. Boil for five minutes and then strain to remove the liquid only. Mix eight ounces of the rosemary-sage water with eight ounces of liquid castille soap. Place in an empty shampoo bottle and use it to shampoo your scalp and hair twice per week.
