How to Print an Insert That Will Fit in a CD Case

    • 1). Launch your graphics software.

    • 2). Open the image that you want to turn into a CD case insert.

    • 3). Click "Image" at the top of the screen and select "Image Size" or "Attributes."

    • 4). Click "Inches" in the "Units" area or select "Inches" from the "Units" drop down box. Click "Constrain Proportions" or "Keep Current Proportions" if there is a check mark next to it to turn it off.

    • 5). Type "4.75" in the "Width" box and type "4.724" in the "Height" box. Click "OK."

    • 6). Click "File" and select "Print." Carefully cut on along the image border. The insert should fit perfectly in slim and regular-sized CD cases.
