- 1). Heat Damar resin over the stove until it is dissolved. Stir in beeswax and heat on low until the temperature reaches 160 to 175 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 2). Apply a thin coat of the mixture to the canvas with a brush. Cover the entire surface of the canvas.
- 3). Heat a palette knife and carefully replace any flakes that may have fallen off the canvas. The mixture chemically bonds with the paint, allowing the flakes to re-adhere to the canvas.
