- Full-time undergraduate students at Point Park University are eligible for a total of 12 scholarships as of 2011. Nine of these scholarships are reserved for students of the three Schools housed at the university and three are reserved for students of the Conservatory. Scholarships range in amount from $1,000 to $14,000 annually. All of these awards are merit-based, or awarded on the basis of ability. Eligible students will be enrolled in 12 to 18 credits per semester and will maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Students may apply for multiple awards though may not receive more than $14,000 worth of scholarships per academic year.
- Non-traditional students are those enrolled part-time or over the age of 25, whether part-time or full-time. A scholarship contest for non-traditional students is held in the spring of each year. Non-traditional student scholarships are awarded on the basis of a 500-word essay written in response to a question posed with each annual competition. The amount of an award is equal to three credits of tuition costs and thus is awarded in amounts contingent upon the cost of tuition. Award materials can be obtained from the Office of the Vice President of Academic Affairs starting the first day of the spring semester each year.

Fellowships and assistantships are scholarships awarded through employment.
