Snowboarding provides an opportunity to get away from the responsibilities of life for a few days during the winter. Unfortunately, many ski and snowboarding resorts are very expensive, costing hundreds of dollars a night. But, there are many affordable snowboarding resorts. Most come with some type of kitchen, allowing their guests the opportunity to save additional money by cooking their own food. - Nestled in the heart of Breckenridge, Colorado, is Pine Ridge Condominiums. The resort is only one block from the center of Breckenridge, allowing non-snowboarders the opportunity to see the boutiques and excitement of downtown. The condominiums are located on the ski side of town, meaning getting to slopes will take only minutes. Each condo comes with a full kitchen, wireless Internet and a personal washer and dryer. Onsite management staff is always available for assistance and vacations can be booked online or over the phone.
Rates are most affordable during the summer, starting at $115 per night in 2010. However, rates will increase during peak season.
